In this webinar, you can learn how to apply the “Scientist Mindset” to optimize your coaching impacts.
Being good at thinking can often lead to a false sense of confidence and make us resistant to considering alternative viewpoints.
This is because the more we rely on our intellect and problem-solving abilities, the harder it becomes to step back and reassess our assumptions.
Research has shown that individuals with high IQs are often more vulnerable to what psychologists call "mindset traps," which are patterns of thought that can prevent us from seeing the world in new and different ways.
These traps include confirmation bias, which causes us to favour information that confirms our preexisting beliefs and ignore contradictory evidence.
To avoid falling into these traps, it's important to cultivate a mindset of openness and curiosity and to seek out diverse perspectives and ideas actively. This requires a willingness to be humble and to acknowledge our limitations, even if doing so means challenging our most deeply held beliefs.
In this webinar, you can expect to
Understand the mindset traps and common biases
Learn practical tips to shift people’s minds to unlearn and relearn
Apply the learning to various aspects of life
Being good at thinking is not enough.
To excel in today's complex and rapidly changing world, we must also be good at shifting our thinking when new information and perspectives emerge.
This means being agile and adaptable and constantly challenging ourselves to improve, even when we think we have all the answers.
